| The Spring Lakes community has been designed around the concept of limited access through privately controlled gated entries to the residential areas. The community enjoys the advantage of the natural abundance of hardwood and pine trees and beautifully landscaped entries and greenbelt reserves. Spring Lakes features 3 lakes comprising 6 acres with scenic greenbelts and walking trails, which connect residents to amenity areas. Amenity areas include a community recreation center consisting of swimming pool, bathhouse pavilion, playground, and volleyball court. In addition, 2 lighted tennis courts will be constructed in Summer 2004.
Spring Lakes is located within the Spring Independent School District with several schools in close proximity to the community, including a Saylers Elementary School located at the southwest corner of Louetta and Hardy. Grocery stores and retail shopping, including Wal-Mart, are located within 1 mile of the community. Old Town Spring is located just to the north of the project, which comprises more than 150 quaint retail shops, restaurants and galleries.
